Cumberland mine Service is committed to having a safe work place. It is our policy and determination to comply with all Federal, state and local laws and we provide necessary training to keep every employee in compliance at all times.

 

CMS is trained in MSHA  (Coal & Metals-Nonmetals) Part 48 training as well as OSHA safety training requirements. We are also a member of IS Networld safety management organization. Safety at CMS does not only consist of training but is a pattern of behavior for our employees.

 

CMS has its own fully equipped safety department with an extensive drug testing policy. We have a no tolerance policy for workplace drug abuse.
